Regulatory and Safety

European standard UNE EN 13241-1

This standard is intended to ensure the opening and closing to avoid any risk of injury through trapping or aplastamiento.A Below are the steps required by that standard.

• Manually operated swing doors.  

   

  Must maintain a minimum clearance of 25 mm between the pivoting struts and pillars.

• Sliding doors manually operated rail.

• Motorized Doors. 

   

  The rule imposes three requirements:

1. The engine must be regulated so that the force exerted in case of jamming does not exceed a threshold, Safety Limit.

2. Detection of obstacles in the path of the door should be ensured by photocells, which automatically stop the movement if such detection occurs.

3. In the case of sliding barred, install a sensor bar on the pillar (or the wall) to where the door opens, to prevent an arm stuck between the bars quedase brutally imprisoned against the pillar, during the opening operation. The pressure sensor bar detects and automatically stops.

Maintenance regulations.

In the case of a manual door, must be accompanied by a maintenance.

In the case of a motorized door, must be accompanied by:

• Book-keeping.
• Engine Operating Manual (extract manufacturer's documentation).
• Instructions Using the Remote.

CE Marking

All aluminum doors HORIZAL supplied HORIZAL, are in manual or motorized, have been certified in accordance with "European standard EN 13241-1", issued by el europeo approved institute CSTB.

This certificate is required for the CE Marking mandatory, will come labeled with plate on each door, mention behaving manual or motorized, and the identification number of the same.
