Static tests:
The railing must be able to withstand a load of 30 daN applied successively to the upper end of the support bar and in the center of the handrail, and this for 1 minute.
In both cases, the maximum deformation should be less than 30 mm. No significant residual deflection can be observed upon removal of the load.
Dynamic tests:
The railing receives, to the height of the support bar and along the railings, an impact with an energy of 180 joules, equivalent to a mass 90 kg provided with a velocity 2 m/s. The measured deflection under load shall not exceed 200 mm.
